Nebraska Tri-M Music Honor Society

The Tri-M Music Honor Society is a national program of NAfME, focusing on creating future leaders in music education and music advocacy. There are over 1,900 chapters across 50 states, involving more than 75,000 students in grades 6-12. Besides shining a bright light on their school's music programs, these future leaders contribute more than 750,000 service hours in their local communities.

For more information about how you can become involved in the Nebraska society, please contact Membership Director Kayla Nilson.

Start a Tri-M Chapter!

Having a Tri-M Chapter in your school will:

  • Recognize the outstanding music students in your school and the importance of music education in shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
  • Highlight your music program and make an impact in your community through public performances and service projects.
  • Motivate students to take on leadership roles within the chapter and develop key skills for future success.

Starting a chapter is easy and only takes 3 steps:

  1. Select a Chapter Advisor
  2. Complete a new chapter membership form and submit the $100.00 activation fee
  3. Receive a certificate and welcome packet with everything you need to get started!
